Advanced Photography Course
Advanced Level
So now you are ready to concentrate on the subject rather than thinking about the camera. After all, photography isn't about the camera - it's about the subject.
Advanced Photography Course (PSAC)
This one day DSLR photography course assumes you have a full understanding of your camera's functions and settings, and what settings to use for specific subjects in different lighting scenarios.
Ok, so now you call yourself a photographer. Congratulations!
However, you are only a small (but important) part of the process of capturing an image. So let me ask you - "Do you TAKE photos or do you MAKE photos?". Happy snappers take photos. Photographers make photos. It’s a commitment. Are you only involved or are you committed? Bacon and eggs - the chicken was involved, but the pig was committed. Do you see the difference?
1-on-1 tuition available.
Full Day Course: 9:30 - 4:30
Courses can be conducted anywhere on the Gold Coast. Travel charges may apply outside the Gold Coast area. Please ask.
Course Fee $290.

Reality Check.
Whilst I am committed to being a photographer, I'm not committed to every genre of photography - it's not practical. But I am committed to understanding the processes and the tools needed. I call it the 'image chain of pain'. If one link in the chain is broken or missing, the result won't be what you, or your client want. The chain of pain starts with what genre of photography you choose to be expert in. That will decide what tools you need, and what processes you will need to master - from capture to output.
If you are ready for a challenging day, I'm happy to help you, but you may not like what I tell you. But it's better to hear it from me than a client. No pandering to your ego, or political correctness. And hopefully by the end of the day we will have a professional respect (and friendship?) for each other.
